Build your career at the forefront of Shariah-compliant investment banking in East Africa — a growing, CMA-licensed institution with the scale of a boutique and the ambition of a regional leader.
SIBK is not a large bank. That is deliberate. At our scale, every team member carries real responsibility from day one — working directly on live mandates, advisory engagements, and portfolio decisions that matter to our clients.
We are building something genuinely different in East African capital markets — a CMA-licensed institution where principled, ethical finance is not a marketing position but the operating standard against which every decision is measured. If that motivates you, we want to hear from you.
See Open Roles ↓No shadow work, no make-work projects. Junior team members are included in live mandates with direct client exposure and genuine accountability.
Shariah compliance is not a constraint we work around — it is the framework we work within. Every team member understands why this matters.
The breadth of our advisory and portfolio management work creates a steep, varied learning curve. You will develop faster here than at larger institutions.
We are building a regional institution. Team members grow with the firm — contributing to and benefiting from its expansion across the East African market.
We are currently recruiting for the following roles. All positions are based at our Nairobi offices — Britam Tower, 19th Floor, Upperhill.
